Being 3-Dimensional means leading a balanced life that includes: Taking care of business by fulfilling your duties and responsibilities. Doing something unselfish that makes the world a better place. Having fun.

Being 3-Dimensional also means that you understand the spirit of what it means to live a fulfilling life. A standard that keeps the spirit of what makes life worth living and keeps you from dying from within.

Ating Tao :: Ating Tao Drum Circle

Only students who have taken AAS 355/456 from Prof. Begonia and experienced a Class Event are members of Ating Tao. Only they are eligible to be a member of the Ating Tao Drum Circle. The drum circle was inducted on February 13, 2000. Paulo Luis designed the Ating Tao logo.

Some of you may be wondering, "Why drumming?" Good question.

Drumming is 3D because:

It is a lot of fun and builds group cohesion and community.
It creates very positive, healing, bonding energy.
You need to be disciplined and focussed (i.e., you need to take care of business by following instructions, using common sense, performing at a high standard, and asking for help if you don't know the rhythm pattern).
You will be doing a good and unselfish thing by having the opportunity to perform for community events such as drum/ritual support for class events, schools, Veterano conferences, SFSU FilGrad, etc.

Rhythm and percussion is in the Pinoy blood.
