The poor teacher tells. The mediocre teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. But the truly outstanding teacher inspires.
Ating Tao:: Asian American Studies 355/456

Besides the idea of being a 3D person, all these classes also share the idea of the Ating Tao wealth. Ating Tao members measure their wealth in terms of the quality of relationships they have with people who are important to them - family, friends, community. They also measure their wealth in terms of what they give away, not by what they have.

The philosophy of Ating Tao is to build community. Part of building community is helping each other, sharing common interests, addressing mutual concerns, promoting community involvement, and educating ourselves about Filipino/FilAm history, culture, and current events.
